2003: 19th North American Surveying and Mapping Educators Conference

Nova Scotia Community College Center of Geographic Sciences, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada

Not much information was found about this conference, but it was a joint surveying and GIS conference, as the department hosting the conference offered both surveying and GIS degrees. Attendees remember that the conference had low attendance of about or less than 50 attendees, but they had good time. The conference had one day of presentations on surveying, and the second day it was combined with another conference. Some attendees recall that they went to the Bethan Bay, where the department was demonstrating use of aerial photography. Two presentation titles were found by Kuntu-Mensah P. and Jeffress G. about the GIS program at Texas A&M, and by Dare, P. about the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
